Create a beautiful piece of colourful glass art to hang in your home in this relaxing, beginner-friendly workshop.
During this hands-on class, you'll design and paint your own glass hanging frame using specialist glass paints to create a vibrant stained-glass-style effect.
You'll start by choosing your design. You might create flowers, abstract shapes, patterns, nature-inspired imagery or something completely personal. I'll have plenty of ideas and examples available, and I'll help you develop a design that works beautifully on glass.
I'll then guide you step by step through using the special paints, building up colour and creating defined shapes and details.
No previous painting experience is needed. This workshop is all about experimenting with colour and enjoying the process, and I'll be there throughout to help you.
One of the loveliest things about painting on glass is the way the finished artwork changes when light shines through it. Once complete, your piece can be hung near a window or displayed at home where the colours can really come to life.
Come on your own for some relaxing creative time, bring a friend, or enjoy the workshop together as a family.
At the end of the class, you'll leave with your own hand-painted glass hanging frame — a completely unique piece of artwork made by you.

You can enter the Coachworks through the open yellow gates into the yard beside the Coffee Shed, then turn left into the Hot House door, walk straight down the stairs and turn immediately right at the bottom where you will see our new little space.
If you have accessibility needs please press the door bell on the Stage door on the Hot House and a member of the team will open the door and can put down a ramp to assist you if you need. Please be aware the door opens outwards so keep clear and always be gentle when opening the door to let yourself out or a team member will help you.
