Shells driftwood makes signs from driftwood washed up on local beaches. She goes collecting regularly and can be often see walking along the Kent and Sussex shores carrying all the driftwood she finds. She then refines it into a workable shape, drilling holes and giving it a bit of a sand ready for witty quotes to be adorned onto them. These signs have been very popular and Shell has been part of Made in Ashford since the beginning. She now makes gorgeous little houses and scenes from her driftwood too.
