Sewing Scrubs to support the William Harvey Hospital

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak there is a shortage of personal protective equipment in hospitals all over the country and we want to help our local hospital the William Harvey. We can make some scrubs to help!

We know you guys, our creative community, will want to get involved. A wonderful pair of coordinators are heading up our local effort and have started a group on Facebook to join it click here. Even if you are not on Facebook you can email the coordinator team at scrubs@madeinashford.com

We are also raising funds to buy fabric in bulk so that we can distribute materials to anyone who wants to sew regardless of their financial situation. You can donate here. Blue or Navy cotton or polycotton can also be left outside Made in Ashford on a Thursday where it can be redistributed to the sewers.

There are some more simple sewing items you can make too. Such as masks, scrub hatsdraw string bags and more (it is all on the Facebook group!).

Patterns:
The pdf patterns can be found to print in the files, but can also be ordered as an A0 copyprint at a cost of £3.60 here:
