Ashford 180 Years of Railway History
Ashford180 is a celebration of 180 years of railway history in Ashford. It will be held on 19th and 20th November at venues across the town centre and Newtown.
Expect to see model railway exhibitions, photographic displays, rare archive films and art. There will be a guided walk, a museum open day and a beer festival all on the same weekend.
- Ashford Museum
- Ashford Gateway
- Elwick Club
- Ashford College
- The Coachworks

Adults and children over the age of 14 are required to have a wristband to gain entry, this includes use of the classic bus service linking the gateway to the swan centre. Under 14s are free.
Here at The Craftship we will be joining in the fun with some railway inspired crafts. Drop in to colour in a giant train track, play with our junk model trains, make a badge, craft a train garland and help us make some scenery for a giant train track that will be taking over The Craftship!
Ashford 180 wristbands are available to buy from Made In Ashford in Park Mall at £10 each.
