I love Made in Ashford. It’s my first thought when buying a friend a special gift or card. So lovely to find unique hand crafted gifts whilst supporting local business The only thing is I often treat myself too!

As a tenant since May 2016, I have been welcomed and supported and the feeling in the shop is like a big network, with a really friendly vibe. 
Since joining I’ve been able to showcase my products in a space within the shop with 50 other makers. I’ve showcased in the shop windows as part of a takover twice and have also collaborated with other makers and now we will have an online presence, in the form of a new e-shop, it’ll be very exciting to be part of that too.

I've gone from never touching a sewing machine in my life to making items within weeks! The sew at home, creative business course has helped me learn new skills within a friendly environment. It has given me confidence and helped ease my anxiety.
