As part of Unframed - Ashford mural festival we will be running some amazing mural based family craft activities. This one is super mural fanzines led by the zine queen herself Zo Zines!

We will draw inspiration from the murals around Ashford to create fanzines using a variety of recycled & donated materials. You will create a zine which you can take home but before you do we will make a copy of it for our zine library which will be available to browse in the Tap Room for the duration of the mural festival.

Parents/guardians of children are required to stay at the workshop & to join in making their own zine. We will be holding this workshop for 2 hours but it might only take you 30 mins to complete your zine or it may take the full 2 hours!
This workshop is being held at The Low Key Tap Room. 39-41 Bank St, Ashford TN23 1DQ

UNFRAMED, Ashford’s first mural festival is coming to the town centre this Easter!

A number of national and local artists will take to the streets of Ashford to transform our blank walls into a sea of colour and creativity. All of the murals are in close proximity of each other around the Town Centre and will be part of the UNFRAMED art trail for local residents and visitors to enjoy.

Curated by street art and mural experts Accent London & The London Mural Company, artists include Mr Doodle, Alex Chinneck, Charley Peters, Curtis Hylton, Andy Welland, and many more (see below for full line up).

Visitors to the festival will be able to download a map, scan a QR code at each site, or pick up a physical map from Coachworks, Low Key Tap Room, Picturehouse or The Craftship and wander around the town centre immersing themselves in the street art and learning more about each piece. Mural lovers can also join a free, artist-led, family friendly guided tour.

We hope to see you at the workshops and the streets of Ashford checking out Unframed!
